Project
During my weeks work experience with a well known company in Rugeley I worked on a live project for a castle in Peterborough. The brief was to design a carvery in the court yard of the old castle in a bistro style. After creating a moodboard with annotations I rendered the measured space in sketch up using the floor space I created in CAD. I drew on the visual to create an idea of how I would like it to look.
My brief was to create a high-end retail store of my choice for 18-30 year olds; I chose to do a wedding shop in a modern and contemporary style.
My brief was to design an End of Year Show poster for the college. It had to involve graphics and show an innovative approach to catch peoples eye. I experimented with photos and editing on Photoshop. My end product was a minimalist approach which plays on the eye displaying the college colours.
I really enjoyed this brief at college. I was required to design a modern and contemporary tea room for the brand Yorkshire Tea. I am still very happy with the outcome of this project which I rendered on Photoshop. I created an illusion to see the logo as you walk through, as the Yorkshire Tea logo very loud.
This brief was to design the interior of a large scale building of a chosen genre, so I chose 70's music which is a passion of mine. I created the available space in sketch-up and decided on a floor plan. I rendered the rooms in Photoshop.
This brief was to create a reception in an art deco style. I looked into the artist Monderiaan as I've always found his artistic style intriguing. I integrated his style into many aspects of my design which gives a clean finish.
This brief required me to design a book cover for a given theme for which I chose theatre. I decided to redesign the book V for Vendetta. I redesigned it all in a modern cartoon style from photos I had taken for the project in Illustrator.
Temporary Exhibition Stand
For my brief I was asked to design a temporary exhibition the Olympic Games 2020 in Japan displaying new gadgets. Here I focused on what attracts customers and in this day I definitely believe in PHOTO OPPORTUNITY and the power of social media.
